Four Months of Yes

Release Date: 2019
Genre: Contemporary Women’s Fiction

Colleen loves her life. She’s happily married to Jack, an uber-rich IT executive, and they live in a beautiful downtown apartment in Seattle with all the bells and whistles. When Colleen met Jack, they were both in college and neither of them knew what came next in their lives, but they knew they wanted to spend it together. Now, six years later, Jack has changed into a money-obsessed man who spends so much time on work that Colleen has no idea if she even matters anymore. Still, she holds on tight, hoping that she’s imagining the widening gap between them.

When Jack asks for a divorce, however, Colleen is crushed, wondering how in the world this could have happened to her. Piece by piece, she puts her life back together, as she tries to reconcile with the past and move forward into the present. Colleen tries new things: she’s in spin classes, tipsy painting classes… you name it, she’s tried it. As a new divorcee, she wants to find herself again.

But when she logs into Facebook and sees and update from Jack just four months after their divorce that says he’s remarried, Colleen is crushed all over again, and is forced to do some serious soul searching. As she moves through the next phase of her life, Colleen knows one thing for certain: She doesn’t want anybody to save her. She wants to save herself.
