Bookstagram: Candy Corn Stack

Bookstagram photography challenges are among my favorite things. I’ve learned since starting a bookstagram account (formerly called @booksnbevs where I would review books and drinks like coffee and tea) that I absolutely love book photography.

I enjoy searching my house for decor or fabric that will complement the book cover, positioning everything just right to highlight the book but also result in a beautiful photograph, and then seeing the result posted on my Instagram. It’s fun, it’s lighthearted, and it is a hobby surrounding one of my favorite things in the world: books.

That’s why I was excited to participate in the #candycornstack challenge on Instagram, which is a photography challenge where you find books you already own that are in the colors white, orange, and yellow and stack them up accordingly. (Although, for some reason I always picture candy corn as white, yellow, then orange so.. that’s why my stack’s out of order I guess.)

The only books I own that fit those spine colors are children’s books, so there you go. :)

Happy Halloween!
